This Privacy Policy explains how Ionel Roiban for State Representative - District 90 (the “Campaign,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information you provide through voteroiban.com, our forms, our text-messaging program (“Roiban for HD-90”) and our donation pages.
Site forms. When you volunteer, sign up for updates or contact us, we collect what you enter: name, email address, ZIP code, phone number and your volunteer interests.
SMS opt-ins. When you join our text program at voteroiban.com/text or by texting ROIBAN to our campaign number, we collect your first and last name, mobile number, ZIP (optional), email (optional) and the record of your consent: the exact consent language shown to you, the date and time (UTC), your IP address, browser user-agent and the page where you opted in.
Donations. Contributions are processed by WinRed or Anedot. They collect the name, address, occupation, employer and payment details that Florida law requires us to report. We receive the contributor information, not your full payment-card number.
Server logs and analytics. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type, time). Our site analytics are cookieless and self-hosted: we do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts or tracking cookies, and IP addresses are hashed before reporting.
We use your information to send the campaign communications you asked for (texts, emails), to coordinate volunteers and events, to process and acknowledge contributions, and to meet our compliance and reporting obligations to the Florida Division of Elections under Chapter 106, Florida Statutes.
We share information only with vendors who help us run the campaign, and only so they can perform services for us: Telnyx (text-message delivery), Amazon SES and Mautic (email delivery and list management), and WinRed and Anedot (donation processing). Contributor information is disclosed in public campaign-finance reports as required by law. Where applicable, we may share supporter data with the Republican Party of Florida and affiliated party committees for political purposes. We do not sell your personal information.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We keep SMS consent records for as long as you are subscribed and for at least four years afterward, as proof of consent. Other information is kept for the life of the campaign committee and for the record-retention periods Florida election law requires, then deleted.
